Southland SLANZA are bringing Creative Commons to Invercargill. Matt McGregor will run 4 workshops focusing on copyright and Creative Commons licenses in schools. All workshops will be held in the Meeting Room of the Invercargill Public Library on Friday 15th May and are free to attend. The Southland SLANZA committee would like to invite you to a special meeting to discuss the proposed changes to the National Library Services to Schools.  If you are unaware of these changes to the curriculum services from the National Library, please see the attached information or go to the Services for Schools website.

The meeting will be held at the James Hargest Senior Campus Library at 4.30pm on Friday 13th February. We hope to see you there.

As a result of a meeting with the National Executive in July, Southland are regrouping with new leadership and a plan for the future.  Watch this page for an update on when meetings and gatherings will be held.  If you need to contact a Southland representative, please contact Joanne.  

We have been in touch with Nathan following our last meeting, and he has confirmed that he is happy to work with us to organise an event towards the end of February or early March next year.  We will discuss dates at our next meeting, and work with local partners, as discussed, to start the ball rolling.
