School Library Association of New Zealand Aotearoa
Study grants
SLANZA offers study grants each year, to those working in school
library teams, including School Librarians and Library Assistants,
Teacher Librarians, and Teachers
with Library Responsibility.
Each study grant will cover the cost of a paper, course or module
(up to $550.00) offered by an approved library education provider. For

Applications close on October 31st.
Conditions of application
- Applicants must have been SLANZA members prior to 31 March
- Applications are to be supported by a covering letter from the school principal
- Applicants must supply the name of one referee
- Applicants should state in writing:-
- the potential benefits of undertaking this professional development
- how it will contribute to your role as part of the library team
- your relevant library experience
- whether you have completed any other papers
