Professional Development — Study grants (CLOSED 2018)

Congratulations to Donna Le Marquand and Kirsty Smith, who were awarded the Semester Two study grants for 2018.

​SLANZA offers study grants each year, to those working in school library teams, including School Librarians and Library Assistants, Teacher Librarians, and Teachers with Library Responsibility.

A successful applicant is reimbursed for the cost of one paper, course or module (up to $600.00) offered by an approved library education provider.

Conditions of application
  • Applicants must have been SLANZA members prior to 31 March 2017
  • Applications are to be supported by a covering letter from the school principal
  • Applicants must supply the name of one referee
  • Applicants should state in writing:-
    • the potential benefits of undertaking this professional development
    • how it will contribute to your role as part of the library team
    • your relevant library experience
    • whether you have completed any other papers
