Professional Development Day and AGM
SLANZA Aoraki would like to extend an invitation to all School Librarians in the area; Primary, Intermediate and High Schools, non-SLANZA members welcome too.

Date: Friday 18th June
Time: 9:15 - 3:15
Venue: Sydenham Room, South Library, Columbo St, Christchurch

Sessions include: 

  • Kate de Goldi
  • 101 ways to get your library buzzing (Anne Williams, Pauline Mulrooney & Delia Achten, Ashburton College)
  • Advocacy and the School Library (Glenda Fortune, National Library)
  • A Librarians Toolkit; Reference interviews, Delicious, Shelfari - local librarians
  • AGM - call for nominations to follow so start thinking how you can be involved with SLANZA!

Cost remains the same as previous years at $50, and this includes lunch and morning tea.
