Pool of Talent

At our February National Executive meeting we discussed the wealth of offers from our members to join our Pool of Talent and how we can best utilise their skills.

We clarified various responsibilities within NE and are working toward our strategic goals. We will try and match your skills and may call you at both a national and local level.  There are opportunities for you as part of the Pool of Talent helping out at a national level as well as at a regional level.

At the moment we are focused on our membership drive and hope that you will help to encourage those nearby to become a member of SLANZA  and join in regional events.  We also need help in contacting library staff in local areas and making contact with them and talk to them about the benefits of Slanza membership.  Other opportunities are also available, those of you with tech skills may be called upon to help with our Online PD and to be involved in our new SLANZA Communities initiative.  The leaders of those teams will be in touch with you if they can use your skills.

SLANZA is a community and we want to work together for the benefit of all our members? You can help us by spreading the word about SLANZA and through growing the membership make us a stronger organisation. We understand that distance is an issue in attending meetings and encourage you to email your region’s committee with your support.
