![]() A number of SLANZA members and non members gathered on 14th September at Diocesan School for Girls to attend our Term 3 professional development day. Our presenters, Mellisa Spark (National Library Programme Advisor), Jeanette Cornege-Dill & Verity Rowsell-Starkey (Mahurangi College) made it a fantastic success with their inspiring presentations. The session by the Mahurangi College Team on ''Putting the ‘re’ back into research: why students don’t ‘get it’' was a very insightful and practical approach to helping students with their research. Melissa Spark’s session on “Inquiry learning: effective library & classroom collaborations” was full of valuable ideas and strategies for successful library-classroom collaborations. As always it was a great opportunity to network with other librarians!
