Thank you to everyone who joined us on July 2nd for the Aoraki Annual General Meeting. We were joined by three speakers for the evening: Heather Orman, Zac Harding and Louise Crisp. Heather shared her love of picture books and in particular, beautifully illustrated fairytales. Zac shared his experiences as a judge for the New Zealand Post Children's Book Awards and Louise from Random House, told us about some up-coming reads too good to miss!
Saskia Hill was voted in to continue as the Aoraki Chairperson, assisted by Liz Jones as Secretary, Dayle Campbell as Treasurer and Cathy Kennedy as representative to the SLANZA National Executive.
